Terms of Service

These terms apply to roamvitals.com: browsing it, joining the waitlist, and buying hardware through it. The RoamVitals application at app.roamvitals.com has its own terms that you accept when you create an account.

1. Agreement

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when we last did, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

2. What RoamVitals is, and what it is not

RoamVitals is a monitoring and convenience product. It reads Bluetooth sensors, shows you the readings, and sends alerts when a reading crosses a threshold you set.

Alerts depend on things outside our control: a working internet connection at your rig, a sensor with charge in it, Bluetooth range, and delivery by whichever email, SMS or push provider is carrying the message. Any of those can fail. Design your setup on the assumption that an alert may not arrive.

3. Compatibility information

Our compatibility database is generated from the decoding rules the platform actually ships, and every entry states its support status and how we verified it. We work hard to keep it honest, and we still cannot promise it is right for your specific unit.

Manufacturers change firmware, revise hardware under the same model number, and encrypt things that used to be readable. A device listed as supported may stop being supported through no action of ours. Where a decode came from a community source rather than our own bench, the page says so. Please read the page for a device before buying one on our account, and take advantage of the retailer’s return window if it does not behave as described.

Devices listed as candidates are detected but not decoded. They are listed so you know where they stand, not as a recommendation to buy.

4. Purchases

Checkout for RoamVitals hardware is handled by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe or Shopify. Their terms and privacy policies apply to the checkout itself. We never see or store your card details.

• Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. The price at checkout is the price that applies.
• Tax is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it.
• Shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy.
• Returns are covered by our Return Policy: a 30-day window, full refund on unopened product.
• Warranty on hardware is 1 year limited, covering manufacturing defects. Details are in the warranty section of our support page.

We may decline or cancel an order, including after it is placed, if the item is mispriced, out of stock, or the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

5. Third-party products and affiliate links

Some links on this site go to products sold by other companies, and some of those earn us a commission. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains which and how.

We do not sell those products, do not warrant them, and are not responsible for them. Your purchase is with that merchant, and their terms, returns, and warranty apply. Brand names on this site are used to describe what RoamVitals reads. They do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by their owners.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break into the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, submit other people’s email addresses to the waitlist, or use it to send anything unlawful. We may block access if you do.

7. Our content

The text, design, and compatibility research on this site belong to RoamVitals LLC. You are welcome to link to it and to quote a reasonable amount with attribution. Republishing the compatibility database wholesale is not permitted.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires and beyond the express hardware warranty above. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the information on it is complete for your situation.

To the fullest extent the law allows, RoamVitals LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of property, spoilage, or loss of use, arising out of your use of this site or reliance on information published on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the product concerned.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not permit it to be limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you and we each consent to that.
